Blame Sally came through town and played at Front Porch House Concerts in mid-October.  The house was filled to capacity and we were able to eek out a video recording despite having a few audio issues coming from a rented soundboard.

The video page on www.frontporchhouseconcerts.com is in a state of redesign as we move to a new hosting provider.  Our original video player was hosted by Brightcove, who recently announced discontinuing their Network account service.  Fortunately, our new host has a flexible platform and no mandatory pre-roll advertising.  We will have a new archived video directory by the end of this year.

Front Porch House Concerts featured Great American Taxi in mid-August to a packed house.  Vince Herman, formerly of Leftover Salmon, and his band just fit onto the raised stage and played two sets of music on the night.

Billy Jonas played at Front Porch House Concerts on April 12th, 2008. We captured the show and have published some video clips online. Randall Williams played a couple of songs in between sets.

Willy Porter played Front Porch House Concerts for the 3rd time in as many years on Sunday October 21st. Willy was accompanied by Dave Schoepke on percussion.

The show was recorded and the video is making its way onto the Front Porch House Concerts video page and a few tracks will be available via iTunes shortly.

Peter Himmelman returned to Front Porch House Concerts on August 15th for an evening of laughter and music. Peter Mayer returned for the second time to Front Porch House Concerts on April 20, 2007. We broadcast the entire show live via the frontporchhouseconcerts.com website, and produced online video clips of the show.

We finally finished editing and uploading the videos from Laura Love and Jenn Todd’s performance at Front Porch House Concerts on February 15th, 2007. We managed to stream the show live that night to several dozen fans. You can also download a couple of items from the iTunes video podcast of this show.

Carey Ott performed at Front Porch House Concerts on Sunday March 18th, 2007. All in attendance were treated to Carey’s unique style that blends Oasis, The Beatles, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Mike Grebb and other contemporary acoustic and Americana artists. The second song of the night was his “Am I Just One”, which was featured on the TV show Grey’s Anatomy a couple of times.

We were able to stream the show live using Flash as the platform. Still working out a few kinks, but a success nonetheless. Stay tuned for more announcements about our Live Streaming Service.
