Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon

We worked with the Competitor Group crew to produce videos for the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, which took place on the strip during the night on December 4, 2011. Here is the highlight video:

We also assisted with the Stiletto Dash, which was one of the most unique and exciting events of our production year. Women, and a few men, sprinted 50 yards across the Palazzo casino floor in stiletto heels (minimum of 3-inches without a wedge) for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000. DigitalGlobe Analysis Center Videos

For much of 2011 we have been working on a video project with the DigitalGlobe Analysis Center team located in Longmont, Colorado. The Analysis Center provides a layer of detail and information to DigitalGlobe’s high resolution sateellite imagery (click here for a more detailed overview of the DigitalGlobe Analysis Center).

The video series provide sub 5-minute news style reports that cover current world events and showcase DigitalGlobe’s imagery and analysis. Until recently, these reports have only been released internally, as a way to get feedback to polish the final video product. The first publicly available video is an overview of the Analysis Center and was created for display in DigitalGlobe’s booth at the 2011 GEOINT conference. The video was also added to DigitalGlobe’s YouTube channel and is embedded below. USA Pro Cycling Challenge

We were proud to be part of the content crew covering the inaugural USA Pro Cycling Challenge. Our responsibilities included producing daily pre and post race video interviews and features for VeloNews.com. Personal favorite places included Crested Butte, which looked like a Tour de France finish town, Steamboat Springs and the finish in Aspen. In conjunction with Singletrack.com we helped produce a series of videos sponsored by Herbalife leading up to and including race day. The videos appeared daily during the 2-weeks prior to the event and the race day highlights made it onto the site within 24-hours after the event finished.

2011 Tour de France Video Coverage

2011 marked the 6th year we have produced daily online video content at the Tour de France. This year was a little different in that we only attended the 1st half of the race with the VeloNews crew. After the start of stage 11 we headed to the train station on route to Paris and flew back to Colorado the following day. All told it was a very exciting first 10 stages of racing. Blue Ridge Outdoors TV

We recently teamed up with Blue Ridge Outdoors and Elevation Outdoors to produce a series of online videos from the Winter Outdoor Retailer trade show. The video above is the first one, which is sponsored by Subaru, and features products by Venture Snowboards, Backcountry Access, Smith Optics, SmartWool, Tubbs Snowshoes, Columbia, and Crescent Moon Snowshoes. We will be adding a new video monthly through July.

G’Knight Imperial Red Re-Launch

The fine folks at Oskar Blues have been keeping uss busy lately. This video was put together on February 19th and highlights Gordon Knight’s birthday and launch of G’Knight Imperial Red at the Tasty Weasel Taproom. It was also Erik the Viking’s final Colorado show. The day included Music, food, Fundraising for the Lyons Community Foundation, Helicopter rides, beer and a great atmosphere.
